Santo Domingo, D.N. – The Fundación Soldados de Dios, an institution that brings together a group of men and women with a common goal of working for the social welfare of those in need, particularly focusing on children, adolescents, and vulnerable elderly individuals from different parts of the country, recently conducted its annual general assembly.
During this event, the foundation’s board of directors presented their management report for the year 2022-2023. The organization, operating under the framework of Law 122-05 for non-profit institutions, gathered to discuss accomplishments, challenges, and the goals set for the future. The attendees received a comprehensive report from their president, Nieve Polanco de Castillo, who was warmly applauded and praised for her outstanding work during the 2022-2023 period. The team’s collective efforts and dedication were acknowledged, and they expressed gratitude to God for the presented achievements.

As part of their outreach efforts, the attendees and related individuals received a bulletin containing details of the activities conducted by the foundation. These activities included courses, workshops, training sessions for single mothers and children, distribution of toys and school supplies, medical outreach programs, and the provision of medication and other aid to those in need.
One significant project that was highlighted during the assembly was the construction of the Centro de Desarrollo Integral in the community of La Malena de Boca Chica. This center aims to benefit over 2,500 residents by providing not only economic support but also educational opportunities, both in academic and technical fields. The foundation envisions empowering individuals to learn skills that will enable them to support their families adequately.
